A Perpetual Pleasure

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high ... This small but a powerful line has been a real trigger in many ways at various times for me and for my folks. A small question to put to all, what do you really feel when you read this line. I am sure this has some level of impact and definitely binds your mind to these words and the irony hidden in those for atleast a short span. A sense of positivity and a deep kinesthesia rock binds and traverses you into a whole new level. 

The beautiful lines of Gitanjali has been in the words and in the form of a bare blind belief in everybody in some or the other different form. The way the people perceive things is different and the perception of those people leads to what is called as vision. This might sound as a boring photogrammetry stuff, but are you really sure, that the thought of ignorance and negligence has no effect on once mind and heart. The insight about once mind and his place of thought is the epicenter for the feelings like fear, love, happiness and sadness and this gives the kick start to what is called as the true consequences. The place, the comfort zone is always so much secure and safe for every individual where the mind is fearless and we are the leaders in our own way, but do you literally think, is this for what you are really born and came to the real world existence. 

The head and the radiant gusto are truly the most adorable inventions by the almighty but the question unanswered is, why are those magnificently sensitive principal parts always filled with filth and falsehood. The term pseudo is used less in physics now and more in society and eventually hampers the thought process and the way the person observes and looks at each and every element on earth, whether it is a small gesture, a compliment, a dream or the walking picture. The fear in all ways is relative and under-powered or over-powered by once belief and his apprehension. 

Fear for life is the eternal fear, as in which is there since the infinite time, but this has been under constant evolution and fear has been playing a huge cricket match in our small mind ground and the whole match is dependent solely on you since both the teams, fear and faith are been captained by none other than oneself.  Fear for marks, fear for attention, fear for the friends, fear for the failure, fear for breakups and fear in fear, have all one thing in common that is fear for failure or in the terms of life defined as a constant downfall. The fear has been the most intriguing and indeed the toughest part to conquer and who does that is none other than a person with head held high and high and always high ... 

So, as quoted beautifully by Tagore himself, the exquisite lines of Gitanjali, 

"Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
