The Last Sapling
He gets up in the morning, all energized and carry his gadgets to his workplace, thinking to have a fulfilling day. He put lots of hard work in his day-to-day tasks without thinking about the results. His spirit is alive every day throughout the year. Is he able to deliver a good meal to his family at the end of his day, is he able to provide well-to-do education to his children, comfortable life to his parents and his beloved supporting wife? The answer is "No".
He, a farmer gets up in the morning, all energised and carry his grazing and tilling heavy tools to his farm at the scorching sun, thinking to have a fulfilling day. He put lots of hard work in his day-to-day tasks without thinking about the production at the time of harvesting. His spirit is alive every day throughout the year irrespective of seasons and extremities. Is he able to deliver a good meal to his family at the end of his day, is he able to provide well-to-do education to his children, comfortable life to his parents and his beloved supporting wife? The answer is "No" because he is none other a mere farmer.
The world is at the brink of losing his last resource of food. Agriculture has lost his importance in the world of corporate, politicians, bureaucrats, thinkers, leaders, royal families and many more. A declining phase has begun, with people relying more on artificial food and artificial intelligence. Technology has and will corrupt and will bring emptiness and hollowness in today's man. Every country is trying to preserve its culture, religion, language, food and the source of the country's GDP, but unfortunately, some don't and this is affecting at the global level. People gather, discuss the issues, policies are postulated and money is distributed along with lavish dinner and exotic wine, leading to no action and no solution. Sustainable development is a global concern these days and which led to this state and why has this condition occurred. Is man unknown of his actions, "No", is he having a black patch of cloth around his eyes and consciousness, "Yes", is he selfish, "Yes", will he die soon of his own actions, "Unfortunately Yes". A balance between life and technology is the need of the hour with more abundant human value and value for one another. With an ever-increasing population, an urge to have a big independent home, a class A car, with air conditioning and a dog to walk along in the park. Sounds cool right, but has anybody of us has ever thought about who is behind all this, the food you order in second through those online groceries store, where is that coming from? A farmer is losing his meal to provide such life to us every day. Farmers are dying of suicide because of no income and no happiness. Isn't he worth of one good life.
There will be a day where there will be no sapling left on this earth to grow; there will be no land on earth for the sapling to be sown, there will a fight for the land, man will kill the man.
Save the last sapling.
